Grade 2/3 students have been looking at 3 and 4 digit numbers and place value. Mrs. Rohrbacher worked with her students to create this beautiful math artwork.  Here are some examples. (click on the picture to enlarge)




This particular student used yellow to represent the thousands, orange for the tens, purple for the tens and pink for the ones.
This student used the digits to create the number 8 335.
What other numbers could you create using these digits? 
How would this picture look using a different number?
