Grade 1/2 students have been practicing their doubles for mental math (2+2=4 & 4+4=8). 
We began by reading a story called "Double the Ducks". 

The Students then worked in pairs and practiced their doubles facts. Each student takes turns rolling the dice, subitizes, and doubles the number! They colour in the doubled number on the pyramid!
